 Great seat.. would have kept, but just to big for my car... September 8, 2010

I did alot of research before buying this seat.. supposedly its one of the safest in the world.. due to germany's car seat law- its rated to 45mg in crash test's where usa is only to about 30 mostly.. I love this seat for the seafety reason's & i would have kept it, but it was just too tall for my car. i have a chevy malibu maxx & there is alot of rear seat room as the back seats are adjustible. But when i put the seat in there jsut wasn't enough hight with the ceiling.. i hit my daughter's head trying to get her in & out. I could see out hte window ok with it reclined, but i couldn't see her AT ALL. the seat was so big.. She did find it very confy though. when i adjusted it for her in the living room she just sat there smiling & kickin her feet around, she sat in it on the floor for a good 30 min! the material is great- not cheap at all, lots of padding. but i had the straps adjusted all the way down for my 8 & 1/2 month old & she was 17.5lbs & 28 inches at the time.. she's not a small kid. so i donl't see how a newborn could fit in it.. but the instructions were great & went into the car very easy. did need a towel for rear facing though..

This is the nicest most comfortable car seat I have ever seen. It is the only car seat that actually looks like your child could survive a car acident in. It is so sturdy nothing chincy or cheasey about it. It is worth every penny.

Wonderful car seat! Baby K will be able to use it for the remaining years she will need to be in a car seat.
LOTS OF POSITIVES: Material does not get hot during the hot summer months, great head support, easy to clean, Baby K fits comfortably in the seat...
Truly happy that we went with this car seat!
