Baby love it, but be careful when your baby learns standing and when holding on to it. Not stable.

Bought this for my son when he was 2month old. He didn't care much for it. Light flashed no reaction. Didn't really play with it for a while then when he reached 5-6 months he started to play with it. He can't put the basketball in the hoop to make the song play but I stick plush football, baseball, stuff animals (purchased separately) and he would pull it out and loves it. He slowly began to notice the other features and not his favorite toy but he seems to like it.

My daugher used this from about 4 months to 10 months. As she got older and we adjusted the legs, she would push it like a walker. The music sounds a bit like a slot machine's and we all wished that there was more to interact with besides the dial of animal noises and the songs for the rest of it. My daughter never really played with the basketball, star, or spinning swirly things, so if it had sounds associated with using those parts, I think she would have gotten more use out of it. This fits perfectly into a Pack-n-Play, so we often used the Boppy to prop her up to play with the caterpillar.

My 3month loves it!! we introduced it to him at 8 weeks old and it still keeps him entertained; i don't think the music is annoying; volume is adjustable so it's not loud. At first i didn't think much of it; but my son just loves it!!

This toy is well made. It's adjustable for different ages - you can make it so the caterpillar will face down so infants laying beneath it can see everything. It's durable, and great for the price! Love it!
